Our Random Week

Two random and fun topics this week: fire safety and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! We hope the kids learned a lot from our generous fire fighters. They really enjoyed show and tell this week as well and brought in some very interesting items! We will do this again soon. I have been looking forward to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs day since I planned it over the summer! I was inspired by a sensory table idea I saw online and thought we should make a whole day out of one of my favorite books. It did not disappoint!

Pasta, play food, and city blocks made a fabulous mess in our sensory table today! We loved it!

We sorted color stickers and matched them to the corresponding color word.

The kids love our phonics buckets. I placed the A -E buckets out today and dumped all of the contents out for them to sort through. This happened to a certain extent, but mostly the dinosaur, bat, dalmatian, and fried egg battled over the envelope with an ant inside. :)
