"E" is for Elbows!

Hello families! I was not at school on Friday and left my camera! But I will fill you in and add some pictures as soon as I can. We added an E to our jumbo alphabet with some very silly elbow painting, we had a special visitor read us "There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed Some Leaves",  and we did some great fall art that will be decorating our classroom next week. The children are really getting the hang of our Wednesday Writing Centers. They spend time using their workbooks, strengthening their hands with play dough, and making letters with our wooden Handwriting Without Tears lines. We will slowly add new centers starting in November. Next week we will have a visit from the fire truck and a Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Day!! No school on Wednesday but there will be PDO.

Here is our special guest reading a very silly fall book.

The kiddos are getting used to me carrying around a camera to document what happens in our room. They tracked me and my camera down so that I could take a pic of their completed shape puzzle! Loved their excitement and their teamwork!

These are the wooden lines we use during our handwriting centers.

Chapel time! Ms. Rachel is helping us learn that we can always trust God to take care of us and love us, using some wonderful songs and Bible stories.
