Thanksgiving
What a wonderful week! We had so much fun in class and I am really enjoying our conferences. I love talking to you about your children and how special they are! I am thankful for all of you! We made Thanksgiving bracelets this week, traced and colored our hands to make our Jumbo H, played outside a lot, and did some special art and craft projects. Monday we will spend time reflecting on all of the things we are thankful for plus have our Thanksgiving party!

We've added a few more feathers since this picture, but I think our turkey looks pretty spectacular! Thank you for spending that quality time together and decorating your family feather!
In October we made it our class goal to read over 60 books before Thanksgiving. We add a leaf for each book we read together and our tree is getting pretty full!

Playing Catch Up: Mad Science and G Week (again)
I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween! Our Mad Scientist week was very exciting and the Halloween party was such a fun celebration. Thank you to our generous families who made it such a special party. The letter "g" got overlooked during all of the excitement so I did some curriculum rearranging and spent this week focusing on this great letter. Be sure to sign up for a parent teacher conference for this coming week if you haven't already. I look forward to sharing with you how much I am enjoying teaching your kiddos!

They had a lot of fun with the felt board. Here they are experimenting with throwing the letters to see if they will stick!
All week long the kids thought of G words or saw them in a book and shared them with me . We had quite a collection; I think my favorite is gobbley gobbley goo!
