Playing Catch Up: Mad Science and G Week (again)

I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween! Our Mad Scientist week was very exciting and the Halloween party was such a fun celebration. Thank you to our generous families who made it such a special party. The letter "g" got overlooked during all of the excitement so I did some curriculum rearranging and spent this week focusing on this great letter. Be sure to sign up for a parent teacher conference for this coming week if you haven't already. I look forward to sharing with you how much I am enjoying teaching your kiddos!

...and gold glitter!

...and homemade grape play dough

They had a lot of fun with the felt board. Here they are experimenting with throwing the letters to see if they will stick!

All week long the kids thought of G words or saw them in a book and shared them with me . We had quite a collection; I think my favorite is gobbley gobbley goo!

exploring opposites

a gross game! There are gross things inside Ned's Head and the kids had to feel around for the object that was on their card. It won't come as a surprise to any of you that they LOVED this game. I have been instructed to let them play it for two more days.
